Higgins House-0222.tif - Higgins House - This Historic Queen Anne Victorian Home is listed on the National Historic Registry circa 1894 and is conveniently located a few short blocks away from downtown Sanford. Built in 1894 for James Corcoran Higgins, the superintendent of the railroad in Sanford, the property has been completely restored in to preserve the Victorian Jacobean Architecture design. This 2 story B&B has cross gables with patterned wood shingles, bay windows, turned post and spindle work, upstairs verandah, a large parlor, unique rooms and a beautiful courtyard. The B&B is decorated with late 1800's and early 1900 furnishings.
